Eyelash Extensions

What are NovaLash™ Eyelash Extensions?

The extensions are synthetic replicas of your natural lash that come in different length and thickness. The lashes are applied on a one extension to one natural lash basis with one of navalash's patented adhesives.

How long do they last?

If applied properly , your Lashes can last up to two months. Lashes will shed out naturally and will require a touch-up appointment at least one a month. By using the individual lashes you will only lose one lash with one extension. You should not end up with obvious bald spots that are often left from cluster type lashes that pull out sections of lashes when they come out.

How to care for your NovaLash's#

After a 24 hour drying period you can treat your new lashes almost like your natural lashes. If you choose to use mascara, we recommend that you purchase the NovaLash Aftercare Kit. This kit will have a specially formulated mascara and remover to use on your new lashes. The remover is also used as a lash conditioner to help keep your lashes supple and lasting longer.

What you should know about the "other" types adhesives

Most of the leading brands of lash extension adhesives tested by the AEWCA were found to contain toxic and carcinogenic irritants such as formaldehyde. Many untested industrial-grade adhesives (commonly used in auto manufacturing) enter US and European market through China and Korea. These Asian-produced adhesives are branded in the US and marketed as "American" brands.

What you should know about the "other" types of lashes

Many of the other types of lash extensions used today are applied in a way that can actually damage your natural lashes. The popular "cluster lashes" and "eyelash tabbing" are two ways that can cause severe lash loss. These methods glue clumps of your natural lashes together not allowing them to shed individually. If individual extensions are left stuck together the same thing can occur. This holds lashes in place that need to shed as well as pull many out that are not ready. If lashes can not shed properly, they can become irritated and damage the hair follicle. Ultimately most people end up with sever lash loss that can take months to replenish.
